Low Idle/Stalling

Man I've been gone for a while. And today's the meet at RPM and I can't be there. Hope it's great!

Anyhow, made it through the first winter just fine, loving every minute. Except having some low idle problems. When sitting in traffic or drivethru in neutral (usually still in 1st), idle is dipping way down to 200-300, sometimes stalling. I've got about 10K km only. Checking oil regularly.

You guys know I'm not technical but a list of things I've read that could be checked:

- plugs, coils, wires, compression test.

I did hit a big puddle this winter, soaked everything pretty good and got a CEL which went away the same day. Brought the car in and CEL had been cleared, no problem since. But I just wondered if that might have fouled the plugs (etc.) a bit.

So, if you want to throw any advice or good will my way, feel free. I'll take it in next week for a checkup.

Hope you guys are all enjoying the great weather and your cars are doing fine!

Make sure all plugs wires are properly seated(both ends), then go down the list you already have.

^ Thanks Maz, I'll do that.

Incidentaly, I appreciated the help you gave me before with that electrical stuff. Sorry to say I still haven't followed your lessons but sometime this summer.

It could be the cat as well, but I don't know how long is been since you really drove it?
Might need a few drive cycles to straighten out(possibly ), but check those plug wires!
