Kereshen - Finally an introduction.
Hey,
Ive been a member of these boards for a little bit now. I first joined when i had enough money saved to buy an rx8.
I have been in love with the Rx7 since i can remember, drifting will always be my forte, but i am nowhere skilled enough to do it well yet. Over the past few years my love for the rx8 has grown more and more. The first time i set my eyes on the 8 in a parking lot, i am quite sure i just stared for about 5 minutes standing in a puddle of my own drool.
I have always been a fan of light tuner cars over heavier muscle cars. I love the 8 for its handling and performance. Once i settle down, i want to restore a old muscle car...maybe a 77 impala or mustang...
That is as much as i can say off the top of my head, i will be trying to come to meets and get more involved on the forums. I currently live in Brampton, Ontario attending Sheridan College for Software Development.
I hope to meet a lot of you in the future and i am glad to be a part of the club.

I'm getting new wheels in a month or two, not sure the colour or style yet. I'm thinking deep dish staggered with an aggressive fitment.
Under the hood its got a sway bar and CAI.
I'm also thinking of getting a carbon fiber fender vent and 2 small white LED strips to accent the front bumper when I turn the lights on, but the LEDs are a big maybe.

Authentic MS kit. Car is not dropped as far as i know, believe its just the kit. Id have to check next time i take it in for service. I love the VR colour on this.
Read the Staggered Wheels sticky before you buy. I know it convinced me not to do it... You can get a pretty aggressive looking set-up without staggering, though.
Very nice looking!! Did you buy private, or from a dealer?
I swear, every '07 I see in Canada has those rims! I had them, but they would look better with spacers!
Oh, and if you decide that you ever want to get rid of that god awful body kit, you let me know...

In 2007, Mazda had a promotion to sell the 8's and gave them all free MS rims (as seen in the pic), they are for the Mazdaspeed 6 and are 18 x 7.5 +50. They also gave away the CAI, spoiler, and front/rear rotary accents.
I sold my MS rims and the CAI shortly.

So YOU bought that car! I saw it in the autotrader at a dealer in North Bay a month or so ago. By the time I called they said it had been sold in Toronto. Gotta say I was dissappointed, but wow, what a beauty! We have a 6, but I'm still looking for an 8. Let me know if you suddenly decide to re-sell it. ....it's really not a very good car you know :-)
