OK. For those of you that didn't know, here we go. I bought my 8 back in November and I asked if I had gradguated or if I was going to be in the near future. So I said yes. The general manager of the dealership who i bought my 8 from said I could get $1000 back with a letter from my school saying that I will be gradguating. So I got the letter and gave it to him and time and time went by and no cheque. So at this point, Im on the phone back and forth with the guy at Mazda seeing whats wrong. Now he has no record of the letter that i gave him . So I called him back and to my suprise, The goof doesent work there anymore and got his own dealership! (oh my god, who would give this man his own dealership?) So now, months have gone by. Anyways, Thanks to Mic and I think Scoop who told me to contact Mazda Canada directely, I Have been approved for the rebate and will be getting it in acoupple weeks. So watch out parts counter! Thanks guys.

 

dammit, i wish i got that. Since i got the car under x-plan the dealership told me no to the grad rebate.. ah well, but having an extra 1000 is definitley a great thing, maybe i should call them to!

Don't wait for rebates. Next time Just steal the bloody car during a test drive and now they have to chase you for the $41K + tax :p

Congrats...but just to give you a heads up, they said that mine would come in a couple of weeks and it didnt come until 2 months later...im sure with mazda they wont let it happen again....
