most likely a day to pull the old one, a day to install, then most of the next to fine tune, test drive, and tweak it.

I'm thinking i'll be picking her up on Thursday afternoon, but thats a guess on my part.

Well I just got home from the dealership and dropped off the Redline fluids i picked up from Scarb Mazda (thanks Al). My car is up on the hoist completely in pieces!!! My new engine is sitting in its mount waiting to be mated up with my clutch and transmission!

The old engine is in a box and even sitting there on it's own they cant get the damn thing to spin!!!

oh well, brand new shinny rebuilt engine is here and being installed!!!!

The service Manager at Oakville Mazda is going to take some pictures of my car in pieces for me tomorrow morning, so i'll put them up as soon as i get them.

I should have my car back by Thursday is everything keeps going well.

Just got the call an hour ago...... She's not ready yet Tomorrow i pick her up!

They had a fuel spill in the shop(not from my car) which slowed things down, then the tech that was working on my car got sick because of it

Oh well, i've waited this long whats one more day. I would rather have the tech who took it all apart, and put most of it back together finish off the job, than to throw some other warm body at it just to get it done.

Besides now they can have time to fully detail the car for me
