Love the seats in the R3... wonder of their is duplicate design offered through Recaro aftermarket.

What was the outcome of your engine delivery? When did this happen? Iam currently in the same position. Mine blew 6 weeks ago and I am still waiting.

They will be, I'm driving my winter car right now, but i've had enough of it so they are renting me something tomorrow....

Hopefully i wont have to drive it for too long!

A piece of carbon might have broken off and seized the engine. I don't think OMP failure would cause the lurch and stall which never starts again.

4 weeks,

But at least yours is in the shop with the engine on the floor (looks like your engine is in)

Still no word on mine though

IT'S CONFIRMED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My new engine arrives in TORONTO TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The dealership should be receiving it sometime today or tomorrow morning (depending on customs), and they will be bringing my car into the shop this afternoon to start removing the old engine!!!!!

HORRAY!!!

Gonna swing by Scarb Mazda tomorrow afternoon and pick up some redline for the tranny and diff, might as well while they have the car appart!

Just keep the engine under varying loads. 500km on the highway is not proper breakin. 500km threw country roads with some hills is. Start with low RPM and work your way up as you build the mileage.

lol...love rotary! They are refurbished engines right, guess u have no idea what was on it before, not like it would really matter I guess.
