meh... there was about a cm on the ground in scarberia when I left for work this morning. If i was driving all seasons I most likely wouldn't care.. but.. the tires on my car are purely summer.. I most likely couldn't even make it out of my parking garage even if I wanted too.

i actually put my winters back on at work today. I had about 15mins to kill before lunch, the tires were under my bench and the snow was flying. I looked at the forecast for the rest of the week, rememebred how dreadful my drive in the morning with my falkens on was, and made the obvious choice. I was so happy to see my summer wheels on the car.....but oh well, back to hideous steelies for another week (hopefully only another week).

I know what you mean they always make it sound worse than it is going to be, but it can also go the other way and be worse then they say. Better safe than sorry. The thing is, down in guelph here, its been snowing all day. It wasnt a big deal, it actually was warm enough that it wasnt staying around on the roads at least, but by the end of the day the temp was dropping fast. the slush all over the road isnt going away and the snow keeps coming. we are at -2 deg and dropping as fast as the snow is. Its gonna be mess in the morning.

is it just me, or does burlington always miss getting the **** that everyone else all around it gets?

Trust me DUDE, you'll notice Thumper's car. He's the only 8 driver that hangs these on the back of his car,

so on the subject of winter tires, as i was pulling out of my driveway thismorning to go to work, i usually get the car sideways leaving my driveway when the weather is shitty, just to see how bad it is. I spun right around. lol. I just barely tapped the gas and the back end swung right out. I just put my toes in and let go of the wheel and laughed. So i drove like 30km/h all the way to work haha. Thats with my winters on. i cant imagine if i had listened to everyone at my work that said i was nuts for putting my snows back on "just for this little snow we are getting" . lol. I asked if any of them had ever driven an rx8 in the winter before. No all around. I asked if any of them had driven on Summer (not all season) tires in the winter before . No all around. lol.
