How do I get unstuck?
I drove to work this morning from mississauga to hamilton with no problem. I pulled into the parking lot at work and there was a fair bit of snow, but it was untreaded so I couldn't tell how deep it was. Well, I got driving through it without a problem but then I lost momentum and am now quite stuck. I opened the door to find the snow is right up to the door sill.
I know I'm screwed, but how screwed am I? Do you think Mazda roadside assistance will be able to get me out? I'm most worried about the tow truck scratching up my car or something. I have no idea what tow trucks do for stuck cars.
Advice?

At the moment the lot is unplowed so I'd have an awful long way to shovel. I'm hoping they plow soon enough because apparently tow trucks refuse to drive through an unplowed area. It actually may not be that big of deal. The snow it pretty light so yes i'll have some shovelling to do (with this tiny spade I'm borrowing from a contractor) but at least I'll get out.

Find the office shovel !!! You don't need a tow.
Clear as much as you can and get as much weight as possible on the back of the car get two office buddies to put pressure on the back end as they push. I doubt you'll need the tow, and based on the consistency of todays snow that you are stuck as bad as it may look.
wheels straight 2nd gear, and good luck.

You can all breathe now... I got out! I made a call to a person who made a call to a person who made a call to a person with a bobcat. All is well in the world.

I am The One!
Well, I couldn't stay home because I have a decent shift schedule. When you have the chance to enter work at 12pm and work till 8:30pm, you don't encounter so many idiots on the road.
Especially when the weather is bad.
This morning was moderate. Some people still trying to drive on bald all seasons, but for the most part it wasn't too bad.
Good to hear you got out of the parking lot qtwre.

Even with snowies, getting stuck in drift/light deep snow is quite easy. The car gets 'high-pointed', and floats above the snow - getting down and off the soft stuff is the first step.
He probably wouldn't be able to get anywhere in the cold/snow with the OEM tires, anyway...
