Gearshift is stuck

Hi all, just bought a 2004 rx8 yesterday and while driving home it got stuck in 6th gear and I can't get it unstuck. Any suggestions. Thanx!!

If still stuck after cooled down, no idea.

Will stick if trans is really hot. A bad CAT will make it really hot.
