Honda dealers good in GTA?
I went to all but 1 honda dealer here. Took at a look at the S2k
Only 1 of them had 1 in stock. It was a black beauty. Asked to look at it, got to sit in it etc. It's a 2003 with the 2L the 2004's have the 2.2L....
Anywho, the sales guy says.... Here's my card come back if you win the lottery! WTF????? So I just walked out.
The other dealers were more friendly but I was told you have to put down $5k to test drive.....
I'm thinking with my current livestyle I might enjoy having a 2 seater more... always wanted a roadster. Anyway, I looked on auto trader seems like there are some for $35K or so with low Km's in T.O.
I could take my cheque from the RX8 dump it on an S2k and store it for the winter..... or buy one in the spring. We all know though these cars are worth more $$$ in the spring

Ricer is Nicer.....
Sad....
WingMan, that's the saddest post I've seen in a long time.....
Leaving the 'true faith', only to suffer at the hands of those heathen"Hondudes"!
We shall miss ya, thanks for all the effort you put in to the winter tire issue, and your contribution to the Canada forum in general.
You have always been insightful, and positive....
Drop by the forum when you're 'in the neighborhood', you will always be welcome....

Wing,
At least I have to agree that the S2K is a nice car. I personally like a nice car I can drive year round, rather than nice/beater. Good luck choosing a replacement.

Hey I'm just shopping around! I might end up with another 8
I found a NICE used car today '93 subaru Impreza AWD new winters! Nice inside and out, no rust and looked almost new inside!
Impressive impreza :p
Also many 1998 cavaliers, but ugh it's a cavalier
I also found out you can get a 1 - 2 year old S2k for the same price as a new RX8, save a bundle and I really do have my heart set on a roadster!

Well it's no WRX by far, but I bought a '94 impreza, hopefully it will last forever and I can get something sporty in the spring.
I am seriously considering an S2k but it won't be until next year, I love the RX8 though!
An S2k private sale for $33-$36 just seems so tempting! It's about $8K less than a base RX8 new, since you skip all the added crap and the GST!
