No, it's not flooded, but there are numbers of possibilities that could cause it...
Needs more details on your maintenance.

Ok sorry to be short in the last post. The car does start up now, had a boost from a friend, drove the car home, just went to start it and it starts normally I don't think its running perfect, It seems to take a little longer to rev up. I changed the plugs, wires, and coils last summer i have put about 35,xxx kms over the year.

I suspect its the coils that are causing the problem, I just don't want to go out and drop $300-$400 is there a way you can test them?

Too lazy to look, but search for thread: "DIY- Test yukon coils", or similar to that. It should pop up first if you use google to search.
Make sure your plugs are also inspected.
Last, how many miles on your engine? Do you have all your maintenance paper work? You could be in for a compression check...

I told him about the squeaking etc. He had a look at it and said the brackets are fine and he even went for a test drive and said it drives fine so i didnt tell him to change it

Smile

Dropped off my car today at Whitby Mazda(great dealership, great people) to have a compression test done... Guess what It needs a engine! #1 rotor good compression #2 rotor 0 compression so I do qualify for the engine replacement under the extended warranty program the only things they request from me are the service history! I pray to the Mazda Canada gods!!!!! I will post my progress here as things happen. Anyways all wish my luck!!!!!

Please post mileage, year, oil change interval, and what viscosity and brand oil you use? Premix or no premix?

Just got the good news Whitby Mazda called me today and they have ordered a replacement engine for my car. Mazda Canada has authorized my claim and I should have my car back by Friday afternoon or Saturday morning! 6 years old and 145,000kms new engine way to go Mazda for standing behind your product!

Picked up car today! I can not believe how it starts, runs, and drives. I don't really know how long my engine was low compression. The service I received at Whitby Mazda was great I couldn't of had better people looking after me and my car.

Gratz dude!

I got mine a few weeks ago. I cant believe the difference too! I never even knew I was driving a low compression engine all this time. I thought the rx8s were terribly slow. Turns out its not so bad!

Clean yor MAF and e-shaft sensor. Reset your fuel trims and maybe change your air filter. You will be brand new!
