Hail??!!

Morning all...

Woke up to the gentle hush of rain this morning at around 8am...

then it got loud...REALLY loud, look outside to see...Hail?!?! (see attached)

anyways, I'm glad my car cover was on lol, my neighbour/cousin's civic alarm system was going crazy cause of the hail, i switched my Compustar to sleep/valet mode just in time before it went off as well. I hope nobody had to drive through that!

Hope everyone's baby was ok! If not, next meet is at Dent Wizard/Dent Dr.

Holy crap!! That was unbelievable. My car's luckily in the garage. The copper awning on our house has some dents in it though. There's going to be some major damage to cars on my street for sure (Yonge and Lawrence area).

I'm in Scarborough, was fortunate to get only the rain but I hear the west got pelted with some nice ones....had an amazing bolt of lighting that struck and about 15 car alarms went off..hehe..

haha... dude... i'm in scarborough as well. Some of the thunder woke me up.. so watched the light show out my balcony for a bit, and no sooner did I think "I'm gonna go drive and get some breakfast" then the hail started pouring down. There's still a crapload of them on my balcony.. each about a marble in size. Thank god for underground parking... I'm scared to take my car outside now

Where in the hood are you REV, i'm by the bluffs. Had the show here for about 5 minutes, but now you're starting to freak me out..maybe i should go check my car as it was parked outside, live in a condo and I'm praying it was only rain..

I was playing in a tournament today.
Good news: Just before the hail, I managed to get inside a car.
Bad news: My rx8 saw her first hail! I have a few dings/dents... so sad

Freakin thunderstorms!!!

I drove in it. 401 by Cobourg. It was coming down so hard about half the drivers pulled off to the shoulder. We had it Friday night around 17.30.

oh my god...I've never driven through hail before, what was the traction like? Did the car make it through without any harm?
