got my rx8 yesterday

Just got my red rx8 yesterday and love the car. Do I ever get a lot of stares and people coming to see it. I have the only one in town so maybe that`s why. I live in northern ontario and on cruise control it will go up the very big hills without losing speed or having to down shift. The wife just told me to go get the spoiler etc. but I don`t know if I will just yet. The mud flaps are still on backorder so I imaging that everything is on back order for this car, since I have to drive 242 kms to the dealer and have to take time off work to do so, I will wait until everything is readily available because it`s easier for me to arrange time off work when I know the part is available.

Congrats on your new car :D

But just one thing to remind you... in the manual it says that you should not drive at stable Rpms/speed during the break-in period so i wouldnt really recommend always using the cruise control.

aside from that ... ENJOY!

Yep, drive it on different speed with different gears during your breakin period. It will be much much better for your engine

Thanks for the suggestions, I did vary my speed on the cruise during the trip. Now I do vary the engine speed a lot in town and highway.
