Got my new starter today

WOW !! What a nice difference in the noise...it spin a lot faster now !! :D
It supposed to avoid "FLOODING OF THE ENGINE"

Were you having problems with flooding? or what was this fix to remedy?

PLease tell more. Mine starts funny but i thought this was just part of the Rotary sound....Is this an dealer installed thing?

I guess this was covered under warranty right? If so, what exactly happened for them to give you a new starter?

Dan, mazda product right? What was the problem with the other one (other then the flooding? How much horse power did this one give you? :p

Helas, I wish this will give me more HP, but it isn't the case...
Mazda changed the starter for FREE, it's part of a recall (third one so far ?) to improve starting the engine when cold, Man o man, this starter spin a lot more faster than the original one...I say about 10 times more !!
I just love it so much ! :D
I didn't have any problem with flooding the engine, it just happend to me one time
I have to say, Mazda Belleville (with Big Mike working behind the parts counter) the service is EXCELLENT !!!

that's cuz, after you buy the car, they dont give a crap about you. You could die as far as their conserned. In the end of the day, their just car salesmen

Geez, I thought by law a recall has to be mailed to the address on file. Dodge has always done that with me.
