The big oval (It is a 5/8 mile oval), I'm was maybe going up later in the summer to test a friend's project car before all new glass and interior is installed.(Get all the bugs out first). Never been on a oval but sound like fun because you can really open it up!

cayuga has a circuit like shannonville's and had a drag strip too
i think this summer we all should take a trip down there. The track longer then shannonville i think and its closer us than shannonville, and i think its cheaper too depends what day u go down.

It nice when every one is right. So which track did you use the oval or the circuit? If the oval what kind of speeds did you reach?

There is no "oval' at Cayuga (aka Toronto Motorsports Park), only drag strips and a so so road course. It's only 3km long, shorter than Shannonville and with two long straightaways it favours high powered cars.

cayuga has its fast front straight and its very tight back section. overall it feels much slower than shannoville pro track. i live very close to cayuga and prefer to drive out to shannonville. The 7 guys seem to hang out in Cayuga a fair bit thu.

There is Toronto Motorsport Park which is the old Cayuga dragway and Cayuga International Speedway which is the oval, they are about 6 miles apart or so. The road course at Toronto Motorsport Park is 2 fairly long straights connected by almost an autocross slow inner section. With the Mosport gearing we cant get the RX7 to run that low RPM through the slow sections, same problem we have with the DDT at Mosport.
