You guys are too funny!!
For your information they don't make that kit. It was a one off by a 3rd party company. So the only one that's available is the one that comes directly from the catalog. Which is plenty from what I see.

I'm really physched about the kit. But I know it'll probably go on next season. I have yet to see what this winter is going to bring us. So after this winter season it'll be the body kit and the springs to help get rid of that 4x4 look.

Or how about a new car to get rid of that girly/gay look? :P

That's funny from the guy who likes the Miata so much!

I love the Miata. It's been a great summer partly because of the car. I'm really fortunate to find the car in such short notice.

I can't wait to see what it looks like lowered and with the body kit.

It looks less like a 4x4 and more like a normal car with the MS springs. Still doesn't look 'lowered' by the standards of most other cars.

So what mods are people planning to do at this meet?

I hope to fix my leaking taillight before the meet and changing my rear diff fluid, but I may have left installing the clear corners and attaching the front and rear rotary accents (assuming they have arrived).

Anyone need a quick jack? I can bring mine. I can also bring some car ramps.

RX-8 Hoser,

I think there are going to be 2-3 cars doing sway bar installs.
Maybe another 2 cars doing fluid changes.

There's always plenty of jack stands around as well ramps. Having an extra jack would come in handy.

I know the Miata is going to get sway bars installed, as well as a new car horn.
So it shouldn't take me too long. But you never know with these type of things.

Maybe I'll hold off on the fluid change then until Saturday too make sure I don't screw things up.

Hoser how are you fixing your leaking taillight? What rear diff fluid are yougonna use? If you need Redline I can get that, what about your transmission fluid?

the fix for the taillight involves a new thicker gasket, recline fluid is also the best you can get for your tranny and diff

Last call on Thursday for fluids or Idemitsu Premix.

Last call tomorrow for JDM, Mazda and Mazdaspeed Parts.

I would love to be able to order the Mazdaspeed bumpers and skirt for the Miata. But there are other things I can spend the money on.

I will be ordering the Mazdaspeed springs. I can possibly order them in Sept. At least have them and get them installed after the winter season.
Maybe then I'll be able to afford the other Mazdaspeed parts.

For the rear taillight, I am going to take it off, dry it out, and re-seal it with clear silicone. I think I might drill a tiny hole in the bottom of it as well and be done with it (it look like it has been trapping water in it for the past 4 years).

Tranny fluid I am holding off on for now. Maybe I should I change it.

I honestly cannot 100% remeber which rear dfferential fluid I bought. I think I got Lucas synthetic. I bought it from part source and I know it is 75W90 GL5.

If you can return it I would, Redline us highly recommended on the forum. Most of us are running Redline fluids. Also it would be better to do the tranny first, how many clicks did your old engine have? Keep in mind the tranny in this car is weak, taking measures to keep it running.

Yeah, I'll return it then. So I guess I'll do both fluid changes on Saturday then. How much would it be for both tranny and diff red line fluid? If you can get them, I'll pay you on Saturday.

My car has a total of 62 000KM

It's always better to install things on a warm day than a cold day!
Bring on the heat!

Sorry Thumper, can't do it Sun. I work Sun. I've been waiting long enough to get these last few things installed.

Pros,
The Miata now carries sunscreen at all times.
