gas line antifreeze
Because its a rotary is it still safe to use gas line antifreeze in rx8 or no?
i was looking at the motormaster one from CT (http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/brows...Antifreeze.jsp)
Also what about using octane booster and some of these fuel system treatments (http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/brows....jsp?locale=en)

but then why do they sell antifreeze here in canada.
does gas really freeze below 0...i doubt it.
since some gas always goes into the engine and the rotorary housing then i am not sure if there is some gas line antifreeze in there, would it effect the engine?

Gasoline doesn't freeze at temperatures found on earth. It is the water that collects in the gas that freezes. The ice collects at a narrow point and chokes off fuel flow. Alcohol mixes with water and significantly lowers the freezing point.
Why do they sell Enzyte. It, supposedly, doesn't work yet people buy it. Could be some regional thing that I don't know about too.
I'm going to move this to the Canadian Forum for a more focused response.
