You might want to post this on RX-8 discussion forum, this will really stir up a stink

 

I read the posts in the Mazda 3 club by Flipspeed and unless he/she has a secret source, as of July 11/2005 9:02pm MCI has not given dealers a reason as of yet. I my few years with Mazda (17 to be exact) I would bet that it is nothing to be alarmed about. In the past, few if any Canadian cars have ever been affected and the "stop delivery" is just a precaution. When we get OFFICIAL notification from Mazda Canada, I will pass it on to RX-8 club members.

it still leaves me ( and hope I'm just paranoid now) with a huge "what if" Do I park my beloved baby and drive the rusty old "I Can Give you Tetanus if you touch me" 4 RUNNER - especially since my 3 year old loves the 8 so much? Or do i just drive sensibly.....naaaaaaaaah wanna hear da BEEP again!

 

the information in the flipspeed posts is not correct. he makes several errors. the correct information is in the thread on this site in the issues and problems section. The information posted by Gomez or myself is correct. We will update whne we have more. for now please see the thread linked to above by andy v. this thread closed to keep all the info in one location
