Forced Induction Kits and Ontario emissions testing

Hi All,

I did a search but didn't find anything on Turbo kits and Ontario emissions testing. I noticed some kits aren't recommended for California... don't know what the allowable parts per million are here and California.

Any suggestions on kits or ones to avoid? Obviously there will need to be some tuning... but are there some that are closer out of the box than others?

Thanks...

my understanding from the little research i've done is that its fairly easy to pass since we only have a idle test where the car really shouldn't be making anymore than oem

its possible to tune around a emission test also by leaning it out. a friend of mine just passed his e test with over 700whp on a 2003 mustang

^ true, however should be fine for the duration of the test only. Just make sure it's not overly lean and keep an eye on your EGT.
