So to make a very long story short.
I bought my RX8 just over 4 weeks ago and while I was driving it home, the clutch burnt out on me. The guy I bought it from got me a new clutch, to my dismay, he bought it on e-bay. The first one got lost in shipping somewhere and was finally found after two weeks. The company sent out a second one and it arrived last Monday. When my mechanic went to install the new clutch, we noticed the Flywheel was cracked!!! So had to wait another half a week to get the new part in, and installed. Everything is getting finished up this morning, and the car will be ready to roll out this afternoon!!!
Don't have long to drive it before the snow arrives, so I've gotta get all the driving in while I can!!!!

 

It doesn't sound like you're getting your 8 back - it sounds like you're just getting it since your ownership so far didn't get you anything

Oh trust me, he got a good ear full when i found out he bought the clutch from ebay.
Once I found out the Flywheel was cracked, I knew there was no way i had caused that amount of damage in such a short time. So I told him he should be paying for the flywheel as well. He said no.
So I've called my lawyer, a good friend, so free advice. Were gunna try and shake the money outa him, and if it comes to it I'll take him to court.
It's great to have friends that are lawyers and willing to work a case for you for free!!!!!!!! Well for whiskey, but no else needs to know that, LOL!!
