Car was warmed up fully but when I gave er it started flashing that yellow engine light..
What could be wrong???

I have a service appointment tmrw so I thought I'd check in with the experts on this forum and I'll have a heads up before I go to the dealership.

Miss fire; it will be coils, plugs and/or wires. No biggie.

^^ likely...Just did that swap to fix the same issues in Hittman's car...

Don't let the dealer sell you the coils/plugs and wires though...unless you have about $500 extra money lying around...their prices are beyond highway robbery.

coils should be about $140, Plugs about $90, and wires about $60 for OEM...any more than that and you are getting ripped over what you can order them yourself online.

can be anything but if its a high rev blinking light, it is most likely a misfire code. John, call me and i will read the code for ya. if u didnt redline yours quite often, i think it also can be a SSV stuck open light.

Last time my check engine light flashed, I ended up in a pile of smoke and the rear rotor blown

If I buy the parts online myself, will the dealer still install them if I provide them to them??

Ya they will, at a rate of 92 to 100 an hour. You might as well buy me steak and I'll do it all for you.

Scarboro did mine with no hassles. They're just as confused/miffed by the high parts prices at Cdn dealerships. They did coils, plugs and starter that I ordered from the US.
