dipstick under warrenty?

after a bit of searching i found that theres different versions of the dipstick, old and new, i haf a 04 and haf that milky crap on the stick and it's hard to read for some reason, and i see that some people can get a revised version of it? was wondering if powertrain warrenty would cover the dipstick and replace you with a new one? i live in bc, if anybody knows anything about it, help would be appreciated, thanks

I think the newer dipstick is lighter in color to make it easier to read the oil level? For a car that requires more oil check than usual, those Mazda engineers sure made it a pain in the *** to access the dipstick.

I wonder if the other car boards have as many dipstick posts as we do??
You can buy a new one for under $14 US or do what I did and drill two holes in the one you have. My time is worth more than $14 so I wouldn't waste a day at the dealership over this non issue. I am going through my 5th winter with my 8 and this gunk stuff is not that big of a deal.
