D&B meet - Sunday the 24th April - weather concerns
Ok, just so that people can judge for themselves (granted, I saw some forecasts too and if you're coming in from London, its a bit different than if you're in the GTA).
The following is as of today (Apr. 22 @ 7:00PM) (Toronto forecast)
Environment Canada
Sunday..Periods of rain. Low 4. High 6.
The Weather Network
Sunday..Light rain, 80%. Low 4. High 7, winds SE 20km/h
In both cases, both Saturday and Monday are around the same temps so no "wild swings" in temperature potentially causing concern. Personally, I think we're a'ok. I predict intermittent light rain, a little wet (so no funny stuff) but nothing to worry about.
Here's to hoping I'm a weather guru! :D

I just went through the systems map at www.theweathernetwork.com
Looks like they're counting on the low pressure system that's south of us to move slowly eastward. Slow enough to give us a damp weekend from our being (barley) under it's northern edge.
The jetstream could shift (it loves to do that,) the low could turn to a more southerly track or it could move away faster than they think. There's still plenty of time for things to change. We won't know for sure until Sunday morning.
Keep yer pantyhose on.
