I was listening to the radio on my way home from the bar last nite and I heard this commercial for the Civic Si. The entire commercial went something like this.
"Listen to the Si engine." And a recording of it comes on. "Now listen to your car's." Silence. "Si Engine. Your car." etc...
I did that and I liked my engine sound way better :-P

They also mentioned how the Si redlines at 8K rpm and I was thinking, "That's it?" lol

 

That commerical plays at the radio station where I work all the time. And EVERY time it plays, I remind my technical producer about the redline on the 8. The engine sounds like it wants to bust through the hood. Scary.

He drives a sports bike Yamaha. So he appreciates the laugh too.

 

that commertial makes me laugh everytime i here it. i always here when im in the car. when it sais "now listen to your engine" im like "ya so what?" then hammer the gas stupid honda

Civic Si drivers are a funny breed, even just peeps driving Honda they think they are hotsh*t

 

its funny because i'll see them at a light beside a corvette and their reving their rengine's and the paint can on the back is smoking and stuff and i cant hepl to say out loud " where do you think you going?" like its a corvette.

 

Thats why the insurance is so high on civics.

Stupid kids + Civics + Polls = Higher insurance prices.
