There is no prohlem with shutting it down after redlining. That does not cause flooding and no special treatment is necessary when shutting down. I know there are videos from years ago by people who don't understand their car that advise different shutdown tricks. None of those are valid.

If it does not restart when the engine is hot, but does when it cools down, you're looking at engine replacement. If it doesn't start at all, ignition and fuel pump testing is the next best step. Healthy cars do not flood.

You may want to start your own thread in the new members section, this roll call is obvioisly not the place to troubleshoot.

Flooring it when cranking actually cuts off the fuel delivery.

yes I am fully aware it does as I have done the de flooding procedure previously. I have spark there is fuel moving I have cleaned the sensors was just wondering if I missing something. I do have to purchase a new battery as mine is done. I am at a loss really. i have done some mechanicing growing up as father was a mechanic but never worked with a rotory engine before.

If the battery is so dead that it can't spin the starter over 200 rpm, then a new battery might fix this.
How old are the spark plugs and coils? If over 40k, replace to avoid problems.

Flooding, backfiring and poorly starting are all warning signs. Ignore at your peril.
