Belt-squeaking noise....

Hi guys,

Since the past couple of days, I've noticed that if I start my car and let it idle, and walk outside my car, I can hear a squeaking noise. Almost as if the belts are making that noise and it needs to be lubricated or something. It's not strong enough for you to hear it when you're in side the car, but if you stand outside it, close to the front, you can hear it. Is this something to be concerned about, and have you guys experienced this as well?

Thanks for your help and God Bless you guys.

Ben.

i had the same problem cause i just changed all my belts when i switched to the unorthodox pulleys. i just sprayed on some Belt Dressing that you can pick up at an autozone or hard ware place. you might also want to tighten up the belts.

Cool thanks bro. About tightening up belts, that has to be done by the Mazda dealer right, as I'm still under warranty?

Or you could not worry about any of this cold weather stuff you're posting because it's damn cold and nothing will act as it should.
