So according to Russ on News 1130, there will be lots of cloud on Sunday, but not really much rain at all... If he's right, then that's great news!

We honestly don't want the sun anyways... The bright sunlight will make our pictures all washed out.

So I've PM'd my cell number to a few of you who I believe may not have my number... Please don't hesitate to call if you're lost and can't find the McDonald's in West Vancouver or something....

See you all Sunday morning at 8am sharp! =D

Well, unless I get a call at work tomorrow to get the rims put on after work, then I will be a little worried, since I still have my winter tread, which I was hoping to have switched over, but, hopefully next time I will have the rims on, so you can see the typs of stuff WheelsWest offers

The weather forecast is looking better and better every time I check. Sunday morning looks like it'll be sunny. It's a lot of driving we'll be doing and we're sure to be going through many different kinds of weather anyways. It'll be a great time.

This is who we have signed up so far, is everyone below still in?

Wow!

That would be a beautiful cruise - wish I could be there!

....actually, if I set out right now, I could just make it!

I've been used to sleeping in this summer so I hope soulflare(Ken) is going to be there nice and early. I'll definately need that coffee!
See everyone tomorrow at 8AM.

Have to say, it was great seeing everyone out there, and thank goodness, there was sunshine, and we have gotten the most amount of cars for this drive yet.

Thanks to Tim for his maps, and extensive photographing expertise, as well as Eldon and Wilson.

I have to say, the thing I enjoyed most was the Chinese food out in butt f**k nowhere! It was the best Chinese food I ever had... Those Boston Bar people are so lucky to have such great food in their town!!!

(By the way, I meant to say that with EXTREME SARCASM!!!)

Other than that, the drive was incredibly fun! It was awesome to see so many of us out there.

And thank you guys for calming my nerves about my Check Engine Light... This just shows again that being a part of this club is hugely beneficial because of all the knowledge and experience everyone else has!

Talking One of the pictures we took...

That was a fabulous drive through the mountains. We got some EXCELLENT pictures. I've got one here - this one is from my regular camera, which is not as good as the primary one I was using (Those primary camera files are STILL being copied over) - anyways, here is an example of one of the pictures. - Yes, its a photoshop candidate. I only adjust the colors, and the size, and I removed this ugly sign that was planted in the middle of the shot, I have still yet to pull out the wandering local that stuck her head into the picture.... Oh look she brought her boy friend into the picture! Argh! Oh well, the primary pictures will be even better then this. (This one gets grainy when you zoom in, unlike the RAW image files that are downloading right now)

The first image is one at web site (1000 pixels wide) if you CLICK on it, you will get the POSTER size version (Yes you can print a poster with this one)

This will definitely be one of our pics, in our 2007 or 2008 calendar.
PS: I think, when I start on this project, the first thing I will do is remove the license plates on all cars. (This picture it is blurred).

It was great to see you all there! and I really enjoyed the spirited driving through the mountains, that was... awesome!

We have to do this again, or something like it.
One more thing.... Michael(Asurada) your mazda speed bumper is really growing on me. After my previous experience buy a after market front bumper, I thought I'd never try that route again... but the Mazda speed looks "natural" and fits the pleasant smile RX8 are known for. Cheers!

One more thing!

On top of not showing faces, I think we're more comfortable editting out license plates as well like Asurada has done for his!

Wow! All I can say is that was one cool experience. It's definately something that we will be doing at least once a year and keep up this cool local rx8 tradition. I was also very impressed with everyone's driving ability.

Michael(Asurada), thanks for the great pictures. I think I can speak for the rest of the guys that it was very nice to meet you and it would be great for you to come out to more of our meets, especially since you take great pictures of my car! haha

Thanks to everyone that showed up to make it a very memorable day!

btw, Ken, we didn't get that coffee that you promised us! grrrr!
We'll forgive you if you just come out to the next meet.

Great trip!

Hey everyone,

What a great trip! so well organized and from what we've seen so far those are some really great pictures!

Really glad to be a part of this crew.

Tim's artistry with the camera has encouraged me to start taking pics too!

Cheers and when's the next one?!

sounds like we are turning into photo club as well. haha

hmmm... maybe that could be another idea for a future meet. we seems to have plenty of camera experts. a brief workshop put on by our members on taking better photos could be fun and informative.

So we got about 30minutes of video that I'll try to edit down to 5 minutes. Any suggestions as to what song we should use in the background? I was thinking of some fast songs to complement our fast cars. =)

I have an idea, check out the cd you got from me. You might find something you like!
The second song comes to mind, it's pretty hardcore, and it lasts only 50 seconds.

- RX8-Rotary Renesis Engine (1999 Billbrown music)
- Yoshida Brothers: Kodo (Inside The Sun Remix)
- Armin Van Buuren ft Gabriel & Dresden - Zocalo
- Beber & Tamra - Travelling On (Gabriel and Dresden Remix)
- Access All Areas ( Ghost in the shell SAC - OST 3)
- Bound Too Long (The crystal method)
- BeatFreaks-Somebody'sWatchingMe (remix)
- Kugutsuuta Kagirohi ha Yomi ni Mata Muto (Ghost in the Shell Innocence)
- Boxerat (Instrumental) - (Hermit Bastard)
- Dive For You (Boom Boom Satallites) (Apple seed sound track)
- Smartbomb ( BT: Movement in Still Life)
- Mirage (Shinkiro) (Yoshida Brothers)

We have an awesome and unique club. Please let's ensure we use something besides an average garage band everyone's heard, with more noise then value.

I'm heavily biased against radio crap.
Any chance.... we could work on this together?
