BC RX-8 Event - Spring Polish Workshop!! (Saturday, March 08, 2008)
March 8th 9:30 am
This workshop will be for those folks who wish to kick off the new year with a dazzling clean and shine!
Bring your own car wax. We recommend getting:
TechWax or #17 E-Z Wax Paste VOC or NuFinish
If you prefer to purchase only what you need that day, then we have these options:
NXT tech wax on sight. It costs $3.75 per coat
or
NuFinish synthetic polymer protection on sight. It costs $2.00 per coat (Highly recommend!)
For wheels, muffler tips, and interior: Bring what ever you got!
If you want to try some of the higher end products not for sale in stores, we have options for you to choose from as well.
We meet here: http://pathoftau.com/GVA_RX8_Images/...ak_CarWash.jpg
Arrive by 9:30am and no later than: 10:00am
You can pre-wash your car at home for free. Or arrive at 9:30 at the royal oak touch-less carwash and pre-wash your car for about 2 bucks. Or you can go to Oasis CarWash which is right around the corner (IF you want to pay someone else to wash your car - for us lazy folks with too much cash)
We will then proceed to the upper parking level in Metrotown, next to Zellers.
We will go over each product in detail. Explain how they work, how to apply it best, and when to apply it best. We will be there to offer you assistance in polishing your car (yes seriously!) and answer your questions about the products you own, or are trying out.

sure you can! it's always nice to meet people of the rx8 community whether there are from bc or not. our meeting place for this is right next to a skytrain station so if you are coming on public transit it'll be easy.

It was a pleasure to meet you Footman! - ps: I can't believe your gf is wearing Rotary earrings! IMHO: You are most welcome out here in any of our club events in the future!
"Him" your car looked FANTASTIC!
I'm shocked at the transformation of what just a simple clay bar and new finish did to your car. Simply amazing....
I'm delighted to be part of this event with you folks!
Cheers!

It was great to meet you guys there too. Too bad it was wet/damp in the morning and only 3 of you showed up. I expected more turnout from the BC RX8 community. In my 1 week of stay, I've seen more RX-8's in Vancouver than I've seen in Toronto in an entire month.
Also, after driving that Ford Focus rental for a week, going back home and driving my baby, suddenly felt so powerful! especially in 2nd gear!

PS: WHERE in the world did you get Rotary Earings for your GF? and dude, where in the world did you find a GF who would wear them?
That is priceless!

Thanks to Tim for all his shining advice and Collin for helping out too!
My car was insanely shiny! Insane! And when you touched it, it was so smooth! I couldn't believe that after just one clay bar and NuFinish treatment that my car would have that big a difference!
If you've never been to one of Tim's Show & Shine before, it's definitely worth it! You would never have thought your car would look so shiny! Just amazing!
