I've been there once during april... Basically its one of those show 'n shine like Collin said. There were more than 100 cars from different clubs. But of all those cars, I'm the only rotary there which is kinda sad So, hope to see some of you there this time !!

You know.... this would be fabulous.

It is short notice, but wouldn't it be cool if we had a 10 car turn out? PS: If anyone needs to get their car cleaned and detailed let me know! I may only have enough time to do 3 RX8s on Saturday. Maybe 5 RX8 if we all show up at the same place and help each other out.

Touchless car wash (Royal Oak) with detail bristle brush

I know of a parking lot that would be available, in that area.
Scratch Doctor wax
NuFinish Brick Wax or McGuire's Extra shine eax
High Gloss black shoe wax (Wheels and black details)
McGuire's Hot Wheel shine (on the wax - it's EXTRA shiny)

Then there's the interior.

Show and Shine workshop:
1 car = 3 hours.
2 cars = 4.5 hours (2 people)
3 cars = 5.5 hours (3 people)
4 cars = 6 hours (4 people)
5 cars = 6.5 hours ( 5 people)

If we did have the biggest turn out, with the best looking cars (no doubt! haha) then we would win the prize... (Bragging rights, and it would make for a GREAT photo shoot!)

Well, out of town camping, or I would go, been to these before, usually some pretty neat cars, and almost always, very few rotaries, I saw a shinka there the last time I went.

No, you must come back to attend this Dan. I would say that with the performance mods that you have, your car is the unofficial flagship of the bcrx8 club.
But if you can't make it back, have a good time and bring us back some cherries, peaches or whatever is in season there.

Show and shine workshop

I've just added the show and shine workshop to our BCRX8 calender and sent out an email notification.

I know this is short notice, but even if you can't make the REV Scene on Sunday, why not stop by on Saturday and join the show and shine workshop.

Your car will get cleaned, and waxed.
We will also show you tricks on how to get the best shine for your car.

Cheers!

c'mon guys, you all know that slappin some 22+ size chrome wheels and lowering a truck will increase the performance 10 fold! not to mention help you get with some real classy ladies! haha
maybe if we're lucky we'll see some just like that at the revscene meet tomorrow...yeehah!

Thumbs up Summary of Show and Shine Workshop

Show and Shine Workshop
Saturday, August 25 1pm to 6pm

We completed the first show and shine workshop today, it went very well.
Asurada and StefYVR both received a full car clean and wax. Their cars look spectacular.

Completed: Royal Oak touch less car wash. Full cloth pre-cleaning.

Product highlights:
Clay Bar - was much more effective then we first thought.
Turtle Tire foam spray - Michael had the best tire product I've seen yet
Leather conditioner - Stefan had the best conditioner I've seen yet
Window Cleaner - Michael had the best cleaner I've seen yet

The Liquid shoe polish looked fabulous on Michaels car and my own.
NuFinish was useful as the stage one polish before wax
McGuires scratch doctor removed some noticeable scratch in Michaels spoiler.
McGuires Synthetic X wax (The highest rated out side of Zaino) and it looks FRIGGEN AWESOME!

Overall the cars got a substantial coat of protection and shine. Michael's car sunlight silver looked much more bright and crisp. Stefan's car Titanium grey gained stronger contrast through the paint and wheels (Very nice!) and my velocity red car's red pearls became extremely prominent due to the synthetic wax.

We will have photos tomorrow from the REV Scene event, and you can see for yourself what a difference the cars have.

Eldon, I want to propose that the Show and Shine Project happen each month on the same weekend and day. I will host it, since I wax my car once a month anyways! If we had even more people, we could assembly line the process and knock down the time to 3-4 hours.
Also keep in mind that new cars to the show and shine receive the NuFinish polish in addition to the Ultra Wax product we are testing. Next time Michael and Stefan will only need the one wax up keep. (Which will be much easier)

Smile Just an idea.... what about go early?

We where thinking of meeting up early. (Try out Stefan's muffler tip polish). Just thinking, maybe we could go to the REV Scene early, and claim some premium spots to give our cars the most visibility? same principle as going to a movie theater before the crowd.

Hehe, but that's just the artist in me speaking.
Is anyone else planning to show up, that didn't sign up here? we can save you some spots.

Thoughts?

Tim and I will be getting there early. Come meet us and grab a bite to eat at A&W at 11:00
I think the place will be pretty easy to find, unless I'm mistaken it should be across the street from IKEA on Lougheed.

The location of A&W

It's right in front of Super Store. Between school house and woolridge.
Across lougheed from Lougheed Acura.

See you there!
