sounds good 2nv...know this is NOT a modding trip!!!! A very few of us are getting some stuff down there since it is cheaper than here, especially Mazda stuff. Any modding being done is going to take 1-2 hours then on to the next.

Post up when you are confirmed and I will update.

FYI - I'm ordering my stuff mid week this week since Mike doesn't mind having it at his place for a bit. Want to make sure if there is any kind of delay that it will be there when we come down.

sigh... so I get the ipod adapter for my car for this cruise (well.. one of the reasons).. I distroy my hands in the process of the install (for whatever reason some perfectionist at Mazda decided to have the least amount of length for all the wires going into the deck as possible).. and now the damn thing hisses at me while playing from the ipod. Ya can't notice it when the song is relatively loud.. but when it's soft it's there.... and it's annoying. GRUNT

Hey guys I'm getting my gauge pod custom made right now and it will be done Thursday and I was thinking I should wait till after the meet to install my turbo. What do you guys think? Do they have the b-pillar cover where you guys are getting your stuff? Can I bring my brother?

Do with what your comfotable with. As of now you have close to 3 weeks till the meet. The Next big meet after this is the Mosport Meet on May 10th (Mother's Day).

Yes they do have the B-Pillars. Yes you can bring your brother.

I have a set of two walkie-talkies. I believe they were bought in Canada and we only have so many frequency options to choose from so they should work with every else.

Nice!! Your call man, hate to see ya miss it if the install takes long or something. B pillar the place I am ordering stuff from (in the first thread) has them. Give them a call, talk to Ray he is the parts manager say Marc from Rx8club sent you and see what he can hook you up with. Otherwise start researching.

Bpth... mine was a hellva lot worse then yours dude.. that one bolt gave me a small headache (it's been sent to hell)... but the damn head unit didn't have as much slack as yours. I couldn't even fit my hand behind there to remove the cables.. and those @#$)($@#$ clips! GRRR. Ended up just pushing the connector cable through the glovebox and used my fingers to plug it in.. was secure n all. The unit kicks *** in terms of functionality... and as long as the music doesnt go too quiet you can't hear the static.. but still.. bah.

ha...cause I wasn't there LOL...no you dropped it, not like it really seems to do much with all those clips and wires holding it in. Yup hence why we said *** the clips lol. You are getting good at the 'blind man' install lol. That's cool...weird about the static, you might be able to find a noise/feedback dampener/reducer or something. They have that stuff for stereos to kill static.

Would anyone mind if I bail after the cruise? I don't really have an urge to gamble what little money I still have on poker or blackjack.

It's up to you. I don't think I will be hitting the casino either. But some of us could shop while the others can gamble. Or whatever. It's best if we all leave together, incase something happens. And something always happens on a cruise.

lol, you had to say it jay. i have almost posted something like that several times on this thread and decided not to as to keep the bad karma away.

saguine, im not fond of gambling either. Im sure we will all be able to work something out. This all seems so out in the open right now. i mean, bunch of people wanna shop at different places....its almost like we are all cruising down the install shop then going on our way seperately after that. lol. Whatever, i've committed to taking one of rx8-thunders spares, so ill be following him around after the install i guess. haha. I dont care if you guys wanna go to the casino. ill tag along, i just wont spend any of my hard earned dollaz.
