Anyone interested in the new updated K&N intake?
Hey Guys, I have a brand new updated K&N intake..still in the box. I'm asking for 300 CDN local pickup.
Vivid Racing has this product at $279.99 US +SHIPPING (APPROX 30)+BROKERAGE FEES (APPROX 35)+CUSTOMS(APPROX 50 DOLLARS PST+GST+) making it nearly a $450 dollar item.
It is powdercoat black and looks great. K&N claims 10HP at the wheels.
K&N, the leader in intake performance, has just redesigned their Mazda RX8 intake kit. This revolutionary designed increases the rx8 by 10 horsepower at the wheels. The carbon fiber intake with reverse funnel design sucks in more volume of air then conventional cone filters. It utilizes an aluminum intake tube which has a MAF mount for perfect readings that do not affect the cars operation. The heatshield is redesigned in aluminum to fit flawlessly around the intake to keep the engine heat from penetrating the intakes direct airflow. Powdercoated in a stylish black with the K&N logo. The kit includes silicon hose connections and new clamps for a secure fit. All K&N intakes include detailed installation instructions.

Geez, don't check the forum for a day, it turns into a buy/sell section!
FYI, everyone - you're not supposed to be posting for sale items in the forum sections - no buying, selling, trading, etc. Them's the forum rules. I'm supposed to be deleting threads like this one as soon as they start. Please do me a favour, and don't start any!
There is a For Sale section where this type of thing is supposed to be posted. No, it doesn't matter that most forum members are US-based and you want to sell to Canadians.
Thanks!

Running strong or running slow?:p
Review: The new k&n looks Great under the hood. The instalation was painless and simple. The proformance is defenetely there without a doubt. The car sounds stock unless you dont want it to then is is loud like a mother flower. 1st and 2nd gear at full throttle is "34" on your stero loud. I love the proformance but im still on the fence aboout the sound. Been getting great reviews from my buddies but i donno. All in all, If you dont mind the sound difference, then defenetally go for it. Enjoy
