anyone else have this problem?
last week when we were in the middle of our -40 blizzard, every time I went to start my car the drivers side door wouldn't shut properly, it would latch but not tight, but once the car warmed up, it would shut fine, but now that it's warmed up a bit again theres no problems...anyone else have this problem?
weird eh?

Haha, welcome to the cold car syndrome. Not only will your door not close properly, your climate control ***** will feel like they have mollasses around them, they won't have the distinct notches and you also get a lot of sqeaking from random areas behind the dash. In Ottawa, the temp got down to around -50 on a couple of occassions and that's what happened to my car. But like you said, once you warm her up, she's back to working like she should!

in cold temps, I find the "bottle-o-oil" compartment in the middle back rattles a bit. So I take it out, re-mount it and sometimes the rattle goes away.
yeah I noticed all sorts of new rattles and bumps that had never been there before... and yeah we were in the -50+ with windchill, but I figured cars don't feel that like we do so I wouldn't mention it
Yes I had the door thing... I actually thought it was closed tight and drove away and the interior lights turned on and you could hear click click click in the doors somewhere..
Check out the 'extreme cold start up' thread.. we had some fun in the -50
