Any Snowboarding 8 owners in the house?

Anyone in the GTA area into snowboarding?

I've been riding too many years I want to admit. I'm riding local right now Dagmar, Lakeridge, Kirby (aka Oshawa ski club), but hit blue, moonstone from time to time. Anyone interested in heading out post up.

If there are enough ppl we could always do a trip someone where, Tremblant, Bristol in the states etc.

I am essentially an instructor, I can give tips to improve your riding, but not looking to spend my day teaching (aka new boarders). I like to ride hard and fast, just the way I like to drive my 8

If you like to rip it up, post up!

Cheers!

Oh and my old license plate use to read SNWBDR BBAAHAHAHA...

I definately board, I grew up on Dagmar! haha but now I only snowboard seldomly because of school.
Reading week (february 14th or something) I will be going to Mt. St. Louis and Blue almost everyday.

I'm also a quick boarder, I've done my fair share of teaching the new ones aswell, but retire from teaching.

cool man..I'm actually going there tomorrow to check out their park. I'm in ajax so it's like 15min.

I use to ride moonstone a lot, liked it better than blue, cuz blue is WAY too busy and over rated imo. If you are ever down let me know.

Does this count! I've done some snow and it was on a board.
Well I'm off to Mexico this evening and now the weather is great!
Can anyone say Tequila.

Geezz Thief...I knew you couldn't leave that one alone, why I put it baaahaha. Now stay off this thread, cuz I know you have no idea how to do either ski or board.

As for those that are interested (I guess skiers could come lol), anyone interested in a weekend trip to Bristol Mountain (bout 3 1/2hrs from T.O.) in the states. www.bristolmountain.com. Double the size of blue.

This weekend, I am local again, teaching a couple ppl. Post up if you have some dates and places in mind.

Nope... I said Blackcomb and ment it. Whistler is rammed with all the tourists... or least it was while I was out there... you spend more time trying to avoid the neon / crome suited japanese tourists. 7th Heaven at Blackcomb is like just the name implies. Plus the glaicer is da ****.

I'll go with ya in Feb dude... money's still tight.. was able to go out once this year so far... that's been about it

lol...blackcomb is rammed with beginners, too may green and blue runs for me. I find Whistler has less groomed runs, and their bowls are sick!! Neon's stay low cuz they suck haha. You know Blackcomb is rated as intermediate and advanced, and Whistler is rated beginners and expert right

Cool...where did ya go?

Uhhh... you were doing it right then. The Black's at Blackcomb kick ***. Black Widow for the win / death.

I went acouple of weeks ago with Bonnie.. was pretty random / last minute... ended up getting a Friday off and going up.. was only 40 bucks for the day. Was a decent... the only shitty bit was that one of our friends had his board stolen while we were grabbing dinner.
