OPP "Operation Corridor"

Heads up if you're towing your trailer anywhere in the next 24hrs... particularly if your safety isn't up to date on your truck or trailer, etc.
OPP to crackdown on commercial vehicles

OTTAWA — The OPP will be targeting commercial vehicles in a 24-hour safety blitz to begin on Ontario roads Wednesday morning.
Operation Corridor is an annual, province-wide initiative intended to enforce, educate and promote police visibility. Police will be watching for unsafe driving, and they will work with inspectors from the transport and environment ministries to identify unsafe vehicles and those not meeting emissions standards.
"Initiatives like Operation Corridor can save lives and help prevent unnecessary injuries," said OPP Chief Superintendent Bill Grodzinski.

... probably another crackdown to see who's using furnace oil for their diesel trucks (and thereby saving on road tax 
)
hopefully they'll catch some of those transport trucks that have removed / disabled their speed limiter... those trucks really freak me out when they zoom by me on the highway, especially when they don't stay in lane
