Any "classic" car will go up in value. Ferrari being a very rare and exclusive brand have alot of models that fetch for a pretty penny.

I was absolutely blown away with this year's Barrett Jackson Auction! There were alot of American cars giong for some obscene amount of money!! And we're talking about really ugly run of the mill American cars!!

It all depends on who your target market is.

Granted a 360 or 550 will never fetch the same amount of money as an F40, F50 or Enzo. Simply because they've made alot of those models.
Where as the F40, F50 and Enzo are exclusive limited edition cars.

Helas would have alot of ensight seeing as how his family has own a few Ferrari's already.
And I think they'll be moving up to the F355 or F360 soon...

Even if you were to keep the car with 12km's on the clock and not drive it in 20-30yrs time, by the time you're ready to put it up for sale you'll have to get the whole car reworked!

Cars do not like to sit around. They were meant to be driven. Alot of people complain that Ferrari's leak oil and their maintenance is high. That's because the majority of people who own these type of cars never drive them. At most they'll put 500-1000km's a year on the car. The rest of the time it'll be sitting in the garage. And then they wonder why the car starts to leak fluids! lol

I have enough trouble driving an FD around.... I couldn't imagine myself with a Ferrari....
