Bringing my RX-8 & a Buddy's RX-7 that is FOR SALE.

See everyone there. My buddy has the most original perfect LOW km RX-7 in CANADA. Its a 1995 RX-7 twin turbo. The last 5 #'s on the VIN # 00006. Which means it was the 6th 1995 produced. So original that he ordered the OEM wipers from Japan (he couldn't find the exact replacement in Canada)and an extra windsheild from Japan in case something ever happened. It only has 23,000kms. YES 23K. It has never seen rain. MINT! MINT! MINT! When I say showroom condition I am not joking he stored it in a dealership for a while when he went travelling for 6 months. I won't say anything else. You will see next Sunday. REALLY serious inquiries only....THIS IS THE CLOSEST THING YOU CAN GET TO NEW IN A RX-7

Private Message me.

Silver. It also has the funky bose system and leather. I was talking to my buddy if it rains there is no way that he is going. Is there a alternate day incase it rains?

Unfortunately everything is up to the weather... as it stands right now it looks like it'll rain on Friday and possibly Sat. Hopefully everything will be fine on Sunday... I would hate to show up in the 3...

And no, there isn't an alternative date... it's now or never... the next big date is the Ottawa cruise in May on the 20-21st weekend...

Your Uncle's got money to blow, hence the Ferrari! Us poor saps don't have that type of cash so driving in the rain is a big no no (at least for me it is)

DarkMaz8, where the hell have you been buddy???

Yeah he does(too bad he won't gimme any). I'm just playing with you guys though. My uncle leases and doesn't treat cars like investments. He gets a new one every year.

I spent the winter in sunny florida. I'm done with canadian winters and Florida has no state income tax. Instead, florida is basically a cuban state.....lol I'll be here for all the upcoming meets this summer. See ya at the meet.

Actually, Ferraris can be an investment if you keep it absolutly original and basically never drive it. Any rare exotic will fetch a healthy price tag in 20-50 years. Especially if it's an f-40,f-50 or enzo. I'm sure they're others that are older and already sell for a premium. The 7 will be a classic soon but basically it comes down to being original and maintaining it in mint condition. Being an investment advisor, I don't recommend any cars on my clients portfolios....lol Unless you're filthy rich and make more in a day then you can possibly spend.

Btw sham, you bit the bullet and bought a porsche? If so, congrats and can't wait to see it

Actually, as it stands right now the weather for the weekend has cleared up.
Sunny on Friday and throughout the weekend.
Hopefully it clears up some more...

The f40, f50 and soon to be enzo are the only 3 ferrari's which have gained value after production. If you are one of these guys with a 360 or 550 in your garage with 12 kms on it which was from the dealer to your house, the book value stands at about $220,000. A 1991 Tessterossa (in MINT condition) is going for $90,000 book value. These car DO NOT keep their value. Trust me.

You're entitled to your opinion but I beg to differ. In 50 years, a mint testarossa with 12km would be worth a ton of money. 360, 550s are still relatively new and will depreciate until rendered a classic. Classic cars are not sold based on book values. They're auctioned off to the highest bidder. The limited production #'s coupled with being entirely original will make these cars extremely valuble in time. Of course, at the end it's all about supply and demand. I am in no way, shape or form disagreeing with the depreciation factor. But, almost anything that is kept in new condition over 50-100 years will be worth more then its current value.

I dont have a clue??? Well just for your personal information, I am extreamly up to date on what ferrari's are going for. We currently own our third one. So before you jump into an established conversation, kindly do your own research.

If that were the case, you'd know that there are far more ferraris than the F40, F50 and Enzo going for more than they originally sold for. Again, you don't have a clue.
