$145...but this is my first month to have it, so if I go to the grocery store, get home, and realize that I forgot something...I just have to drive back to get it!!! :D

I reside in orange county, CA and 91 octane is $2.60 a gallon. I spend about $200 a month on gas.

Lately, 2 tanks a week, at ~$50 a tank (premium is a buck a litre out here), so roughly $400 a month. Damn, wish I hadn't stopped to figure that out.....

With gas prices this high I'm almost looking forward to having to drive the MX-3 this winter.

This is way too general to answer. The tank holds 59litres. Figure out the price/litre at your local gas station then look up the million MPG threads to get an avg and then calculate based on how much you think you will use the car.

I am way to scared to actually calculate that. I drive a lot (since june i have 14k) so i'm at the damn gas station every other day, i get on average 325km - 375km per fillup.. So it's a hell of a lot for me! But worth every penny! (i use sunoco 94)

Agreed. Buy a hybrid or a Jetta TDI if you're worried about gas mileage. I've got way to big a grin on my face every time I get out of my car to worry about how much gas cost me!

... now you've opened a can of worms

I think EVERYONE including myself that researched the 8 or even read this forum was pretty aware that fuel economy wasn't going to be a driving factor in making your purchase decision.

But for some strange reason, i felt i could justify it, but now paying over .98c a litre (on a GOOD day) in toronto, averaging 45l per fill... damn.

I fill up approximately 6x a month, at $40+- per fill + 8 pack of smokes each time... my monthly gas bills are slightly less than $300 each month. In my original budget before I had bought the car, I put asside $250 (being generous based on known poor fuel economy). Who knew I'd actually go over.

We're getting raped here. But the overall enjoyment of owning this car makes my monthly gas bill a moot point.
