Is Xeon HID.. and rx8 leather pack...?
are they the same thing??

2. will mazda accept this mod and will support the warranty?

HID in the standard leather pack is the D2S 35W. Don't know the stock K but it will be around 4000K if not less.
Conversion kit is ok but it will never like factory ones . Mazda one fits nicer... and bolted on. You have to secure the ballast so I think I will find someone professionally done.
Now I tempted to put it on my wife's car.... damn then i have to change all the other bulb....
I don't think there will be warranty to the headlight anymore though.

A lot of people has it and certainly they have been used for years?

LOL, I'm sure there's some practical aspect as to why someone would want to use blue fog lights ...
... probably to enhance glare? Not sure ...
Useless fact ... amber lights actually help you see the lines on the road on silty foggyish days. I miss my amber foglights ... I really really do! I think that anything in the white spectrum will pass ADR, but any other colour won't.
