Was at the Auto Salon drag combat show in Sydney yesterday when this guy parked his RX-8 near out tent.

Went over to check out the rims.

22 inches, can you believe that. 22 huge inches. I was gob smacked...........

 

Also winner of the slowest RX8 comp.

 

..but at least it is subtle.

22 inch rims... that has to be the winner in my book, haven't seen anything past 20 on an rx-8 until today. I have to agree with the sentiment expressed thus far, it's all for show.

Its ok, i hate it but the Company just wants to promote their rims so they didnt go bad by choosing the RX-8

I saw this parked outside a house in my area just yesterday. As usual they take off the rims as soon as they get back onto the street.

Ozzy tyres and Tempe Tyres have a few nice rims to promote.
