Spotted White RX8, side flares and rear spoiler (didn't see the front) Sunday morning driving up towards the city in Newmarket!!

Have seen on US sites but is not an optional colour on the local Mazda site. Import??

Looks good, very "bright".

Driver was obviously new as was not looking out his mirrors and ran a "very orange" light so i didn't get to pull up and have a closer look.

Anyone else seen one?

I think white car with bodykit gives the best look. Black car... can see it!

Not bad Taka, but you could see shadows where the side aero flares attached, seemed to look more "bolted on" than on the black.

Pictures on the US threads look good though. Will keep and eye out and try to get some pictures. Dropped the dealer a note to see if it's a special or a new colour for NZ.

The best demo car I have seen in Japan are all in white. I suppose it is hard to photograph a black car. It needs very good lighting to show the curves of the cars

I loved and used to have a white sports car. Too bad it comes that late.

There was a white Auto that came into Mazda when i working there. Had no kit though ??? Maybe another ????

But Yes its a Japa Import as Mazda NZ & Aussie didn't think there was a demand for white ??

I think it looks quite mint in Snowflake White. You could order one in white but you would have to wait 3 months + for it as a special build

I asked for one and did not get it! Not to mention they are thinking for charging me just "asking" if there is a white colour for the RX-8

i would have bought a white one,
yeah white with a dark burgundy leather
would have been awesome.
I have a nordic green but would have preferred
the dark matte wheels, i think it would match.
How come they don't care about these things?

Maestro, we may have to make you the NZ guru!! Definitely had some bolt ons, didn't see the front. Will keep the eyes open!

Agree about the options, I'd have loved a sunroof! Yeah yeah a bit more weight to tow around but damn it rains over here and when the sun peeks out it would be nice to have more of it in the car!

Sunroof is a No go for sure unfortunately. Have tried that option a few times but its too much of a mission and a whole new model code. So Mazda wouldn't be able to help you.

But For you guys. You can get snowflake white RX-8 just tell your Dealer to place a order for a SnowFlake White RX-8 on Mazda's Ordering System and it will come.

The only way it won't is if Mazda Aust. says No !

I'll give you some insight into Mazda Japan. MJ has a production line that is multi car so the robots can produce any car at any time off the production line it takes 5 minutes to change.

Also because of this all of Mazda paints are avaialble for any car in thory (I don't think Mazda would make a Spicy Orange RX-8 for you) But Standard colours through the lines should be fine.
