Taka Weather Report update.
I think the weather has locked in. Although there will be a low presure system over us on Sunday. It does not look like it will produce any rain.
For Victoria Forcast
Sunday: Isolated showers in the south and west. Morning fog and frost patches
in the east. Cool.
There will be no rain in the east and can be Sunny.
Melbourne Forcast
Suday
Mostly fine. Min 10 Max 17
I think in the mountain top it will be 7-9 degree max. So get a jacket.
I will address a few important points and how we run the cruise on the day.

hehe there are things that I need to tell the people regarding the CB, what to do at the base of lake mountain, etc.
I wonder if the 2W CB will communicate between the people at the top and at the bottom of the mountain. We will see

What you can do tomorrow (Saturday)
Now this instruction benefits you for the drive on Sunday so listen carefully. You can choose not to listen but this is what I (and other cruisers) generally do before a "cruise".
1. (A must) check your engine oil level.
2. (A must) check your tyre pressure when cold. Don't use the servo meter reading if you can avoid it. I will pump the tyre pressure 38psi (1 person) or 40 psi (2 people or loaded).
3. Clean your car or make it very dirty .
4. Fill up with petrol and no need for fuel additives. It does nothing to rotaries. We will need at least half a tank of petrol on the day.
5. Check the battery of your CB radio, then put it in the glove box.
6. Bring a smile on Sunday
I will point to you the places you can get whatever you forget to bring at the meeting place. Nunawading has most thing you want at around that time of the day. You can even buy a CB at DickSmith nearby !
But I suggest to bring everything since we need to move by 10 am or whenever everyone arrived.

I'll be at Macca's about 9:30 - 9:45. Bringing a mate with me as Mrs Lexic said that I would have more fun that way!! Looks like I can now do some more "maintenance" on the rx8. I am sure I read some where in the manual that I must perform "spirited" driving occasionally to keep the car running as good as possible! The more the better??!!!

I agree - awesome indeed. Best fun I've had with the car since I got it!
Hope everyone got home safe and sound. See you next time...
Andrew, I've got some OK photostitched panoramic views - I'll PM you details.

Thanks to all those who came out today. I had a lot of fun especially coming back down the mountain :D
Here are a couple of pictures. Not super great quality but good enough to see the turn out.

I was a little tired when I finally got home. Sat down and watched the DVD atridge gave me of our Sandown trackday and am now all fired up to go back out driving!
After watching all the 8's on the road around me today I have decided that black looks the best on the road but yellow gets by far the most attention by people on the side of the road. Blue gets a bit lost amongst all these colours but stands out and looks the most sophisticated parked among other cars.
