UNSW anyone?

So i was heading to uni and saw a fellow rx8 and decided to park next to it. I knew there were at least 4 rx8's which were at the uni and i wondered if another one would come join us.

Halfway thru my lecture i get a msg from my friend telling me how three red rx8's were parked together (imageshack wont work... so i attached the pics...)

lol I didn't see those RX-8's when I went to the UNSW open day last Saturday, but it's good to know that you Uni Students love your Rotary's. haha its quite a coincidence that you have 3 Red RX-8s parked next to each other

Wish i could have parked next to you. Too bad I've gone to 0 classes this semester.

Hah.

Btw I hate that parking lot. I always scrape like a beached whale coming up the last ramp to the top floor coming up from the side closest to Anzac Pde.

Don't know if it's just my car or what but it didn't used to beach itself. And the suspension is stock.

Oh well.

Hahaha, cool!

You guys should develop a regular parking area. You'll know at least one of your doors will be safe, lol.

I used be UNSW student, but now I only go back occasionally in late afternoon or weekend if I need to do some research from library.

For the ramp crest, I have no problem with Barker Street carpark, but that is terrible with Botany Street one. But it should be alright if you drive very slowly and go over the crest in angle.

I so didn't have the luxury of those decisions at that age, hahaha.

Cars are SO much cheaper in real terms these days. Something like the 8 was just not even in the ballpark when I was in my early 20's.

Money is cheaper too.
All I could afford was a 15 year old EH Holden in 1979.

I still don't know how a uni student can afford close on $1000 a month for a car. When I was at uni some of my full time friends lived on chick peas and soy beans.

My daughter is still in year 12 and owns her own car that is newer than any car I had before I was 30.

Nah, people are spending so much these days, that's all. Watch what will happen when interest rates go up.

My old man bought an EH Premier new as his first car with money he saved up.
