I've been here for years but was never a "proper" member.

Been waiting for the pricing to become "reasonable" or about the same price as a Japanese or American buyer would be paying for a new RX-8.

So last weekend, I did a deal with Newcastle Mazda & purchased an RX-8.

Signed on the line at $33k.

Mileage is a reasonable 45k km.

Colour was the exact one I wanted.

Leather pack version with auto trans.

Auto suits the needs of the DMRH clan if you know what I mean

Only got them to carry out a service & perform any upgrades or recall work on the car that may not have been done yet.

At the fair price of $33k, I figure it would be hard to push for "extras". They did tell me after I signed that the car was traded in at $31500.

I'm always a bit wary whenever a car dealer tells you how much the car was traded in for.

However in your case Dave, I would tend to believe them because the price you paid is a very good one. Your research has paid off...congrats.
