thump in LHR suspension

I have been getting a thump coming through my left had rear suspension when taking off from stationary round corners. Like when taking off from a set of lights in one of the outer lanes turning.
I have been driving like a granny and I’m only starting to notice it as I give it more throttle. It doesn’t happen always and feels like the left rear looses traction then all of a sudden it finds it again. Or like the wheel looses drive then the drive shaft turns a ¼ turn and hooks up again. It happens both in left and right turns in the same LHR wheel.
Anyone experienced this?

nothing like that with mine.. have you tried turning off the DSC and seeing if that makes a difference?

My initial thoughts are it is the DSC applying brake to that wheel. I have experienced similar.

I'm doubtful it is the DSC as the light has never flashed on the dash in conjunction with the thump. I'm also not pushing the car that hard (under 6k rpm, half throttle) when the thump happens.

I have had the DSC light up only once with my grandpa driving and admittedly even then I didn't think the car was out of control or heading that way.

Is the thump a mechanical clinging noise or you thing it is just a brake applying there (like a movement rather than a noise)... if the latter then you should switch off the DSC totally (by pressing and hold the button for 7 sec until the DSC slippery sign comes on) and try... if that kills the problem then it is the EBD that playing up and need adjusting - should cover in the warranty.

I'm not 100% on this, but I'm pretty sure that the "squiggly car light" only comes on when the traction control (TSC) is engaged.

I don't think it comes on when the DSC alone is intervening. So even without the light coming on, there still could be a DSC answer to it.

One way to find out - corner hard enough to cause the DSC to engage, but do it with your foot off the throttle and see if you get the light or not. I might try this tomorrow if I remember.

OK, I tried this today and I can report that I am smoking dope.... The squiggly car light comes on with the DSC as well, even if your foot is off the throttle.

I'm still doing testing on this one I think it might be the LSD (not the stuff wildcard is on ) it seems to only happen when there is a lack of girp on the corner. I can't get it to happen regularly yet so I couldn't demonstrate it to the service crew. I'm sure as hell not going to give my car in to them and let them thrash it to find it.

I tried the DSC but since I can't repeat the clunk I don't know if it did anything. my next step is to find a quiet gravel corner and do stop starts till I can reproduce it.
