I couldnt stop drooling over the Saab concept car..damn thats HOT (except its got a fugly ****). The R8 was my next favourite - very, stylish IMO.
The Kabura does look really good in the flesh, the interior wasnt that spectacular to be honest. Whats with these new cars having really crappy looking backsides? I was VERY disappointed with Mazda for hiding the rx8 in the corner. Seriously WTF is wrong with these people? I had to ask the Mazda guys where teh RX8 was cos I couldnt even see it....tsk tsk tsk
I liked the Hummer, might even get one when it gets released next year for $55k!!!!! The interior sucked on the Hummer htey had @ the show but the H3's have some really nice interior options which make it look uber snazzy.
The rally car hooked up to the PS2 gave me the ***** though. The steering was out of calibration and the gears were going opposite. Up for downshit and DOWN for upshift..no wonder I got beaten :P
Overall, this years motor show was good. We went on Tuesday after lunch so it wasnt that busy and this gave us a good opportunity to take time @ each stand.
I did take pics, will upload later.

I agreed with every word you said...until I got to the bit about Hummers.
WTF is good about those ugly, heavy heaps of crap? I wouldn't **** on one if it was on fire to be honest.

I dont know, I've always loved hummers. I think age, and the rap/hiphop culture I grew up around has a lot to do with.

I doubt I'd do any of that though. Probably chuck some nics BLING BLING rims on it pimp it out

Al DeM gAnGsTaZzz hav eM to0000000!
Fair enough, I can see the cultural connection. Mind you, there's a magnificent send up of the 'gotta have' car thing in the film Get Shorty when Travolta's character accquires a people mover. Good soundtrack too btw (if you like that kinda thing).
But as for off-roading, from what I understand from offroading mates, these things may be good for getting punished in the desert but they're hopeless for bush trails. Too wide and some other problems I can't remember now. Apparently, the average Cruiser, Pajero, Disco will murder them offroad.
And you thought fuel costs on the 8 were high...

I know what you mean kunz, but for me it is the totally weird and completely illogical attraction I have to the Chrysler 300C SRT8. I know it's not necessarily even best in class -- the HSV Grange is well ahead -- but somehow, if I was about 2" taller and 50Kg heavier, there's no question I'd shave my head, wear dark suits, a fedora and dark Ray Bans, and drive around in one of those, constantly puffing on a stogie. Of course, there's a risk I'd soon be dead, but in the line of business I'd be in, well, dems de breaks!

I love the looks of the 300C myself, but that's about the only attraction when compared in the cold light of day to its competition. And have you seen the poky back seat?
Still, with these wheels on a black one...

The 300C (sedans) looks absolutely awesome. Please dont get the touring/wagon model though as they look really crap.
