My attitude to cruises is to post what I'm planning to do and if people want to join in, great. If not, that's their loss.

Almost got carried away and polished the car after washing it today and then common sense took over.
Some showers forecast tomorrow but hopefully they miss us.
Remembered the prize too. We might do a key draw for it if we can find a decent barrel girl.

Checked just now and there's no warning on either the site or the phone line (recorded message of road closures), so I'm assuming it's now open.
However, would be grateful if one of the southerners could check between 9.30 and 10.00, whilst I'm in transit.

After spending 13 hours yesterday helping a friend move all his worldly possessions halfway across the sydney metro area, karma decided to f*ck me over for no reason. I've injured my neck and can't turn my head more than a few degrees either way without wanting to die.
Woke up about an hour ago, and currently sitting here with an icepack and pain killing cream wishing it will get better in the next 20 minutes so I can run to the car and drive to Sutherland, but its looking unlikely...
So instead it looks like I get to sit here all day bored out of my brains.
There's no apology here, cos the only person missing out is me
Hope you guys have fun today. Bring back lots of pics.

Thanks for organising another great cruise Dave,it was well planned and well executed. Thanks as well to all who attended, was good to see and meet you all and to see all the cars together. The cars all looked great (loved the 200sx and the evo too). Keep the weight down and hope to see you all on another cruise soon (or better still,at the track)..

Thanks to everyone who attended yesterday. We ended up with about 15 cars, incl some mongrels - a 'smooth' 200SX, Evo, Integra, Len's Pug and a Lotus Exige (which unfortunately ran out of brakes and couldn't continue). Waldo even made a return from the dead in a disgustingly dirty storm blue car, hahaha.
Weather was kind to us and there were no mishaps. Len and I even had a nice little moderate go through some of the Nasho Park twisties before hitting traffic again. A lovely drive through the park and down the coast road, highly recommended if you haven't done it. A weekday is best if you want to play.
Tried to get around and say hello to you all before having to leg it home to mow lawns, etc before a shindig at our place that night. Apologies to those I missed. Red wine on a sunday night isn't a good idea! Well, in quantity anyway! ;-)
Anyway, saw plenty of cameras, so please post up some pics.
Hey, what happened to Mogley and the only good looking auto trans owner?? ;-)

yeah it was a fun drive back , and it helps when there is no slower traffic around , which we encountered a couple times....although for most of the way back, we pretty much had the road to ourselves.....and even the Harley with 2 people on it, was giving it a hit when he saw 4 rx8's in his mirrors ....

By the way, I have had some ****** comments from some RX8 owners when I am in the Jazz and I give them the thumbs up or tell them that I like their car in a car park. One guy with his handbag girlfriend said to me after I said I liked his car "well work hard son and one day you might have a car like this too", I didn't have the heart to embarrass him so I just smiled and said I would see what I could do.

BTW, didn't have time for the coast road and Nasho Park on the way down this morning but did so on the way back and had most of it to myself. Only copped traffic just before Audley Weir. Smokin'
