Arrow Foreign content.....

I have bought and installed both of the models - the brushed "aluminium" one is JDM, and cost me a fortune. It says alloy, but the metal is stainless, with a satin brushed finish. The hinge and mount are steel.

I swapped it (on the forum) for the shiny chrome finish one, that has no indentation in the middle. God knows where it comes from, it's not stainless, nor alloy, and weighs about three pounds. (seems to be something like chromed brass?) and the hinge and mounting plate are black PLASTIC.

I modded the thin one with a spring on the hinge, so that when you pulled the lever, it sprang all the way open. The US model needed TWO much larger springs.

In hindsight, the JDM one is much lighter and better made, not sure I would have swapped if I'd seen the quality up close.

...but it sure is SHINY!

Center....

Never seen a center opener, don't think they exist - what would be the point if you still need to reach in thru the little hole and take the GASCAP off ?

Rosenthal Mazda sold it for a while ... remember S? It was about a year ago.

You must have missed it. I wonder why they stop selling it. Even though it is USD$80, I was consider buying it. But shipment quoted for another USD$80 stopped me from purchasing.

I should have done it 2 years back.

I had rice too...with lamb chops and corn on the cob!

As for my 'rice' fuel door, I think the fact you guys have wasted 3 pages talking about various fuel doors says more about you than it does about me.

I like it.
