Other sections of the forum were discussing this about a month ago. According to our American friends, the car is electronically limited to 148mph. That equals 238 km/h.

I know for a fact that the Aussie version will do >180. The fastest I've heard of was a US forum member claiming to have seen 145 mph on the speedo, and a Canadian who said he saw 242km/h. (Remembering of course that the speedo over-reads by 1-2%).

How fast is your turbo '8 going to go kas?

No turbo yet. no car yet.

If you remember a while ago I had major problems with my 8. Well my new car gets here in late november which has slowed the process down by well...months. It should have been done by now =((

Hiya Kas,

you are indeed a lucky man - a new car and NOT a cast-off!

So all is good again from next month - enjoy:-)

Tony.

Like I said in a previous post, 220 kph in 6th gear between West Wyalong and Hay. The engine didn't sound like it was under any particular stress and the car was flat and stable.
