Guys i was just wondering if every1 gets their RX8 serviced by a mazda dealer or private mechanic?

Mazda says they have special equipment for servicing their cars. Is this BS or true?

How much is the normal 10,000 & 20,000km serivice at dealerships?

im open to hearing as my 20,000km service is up and my mechanic says its just like a normal service and the WDS computer is to determine where a problem is situated if they cant find it exactly.

Your thoughts will be much appreciated.

 

oh yes they have WDS computer... I am not up to 10000km yet? You can always call them to ask for it. It only caused me $100 to change oil (they supply mazda oil), adjust brake and rotate tyres.

 

I paid about $275 for the 20K service at my dealer.

I have an interim service every 5K with a rotary specialist that costs about $90 including oil & filter.
