I clocked up 5000km in 3 weeks over the break. All good fun, aside from the fuel bill.
I've been holidaying in Adelaide for almost a week now and I've been driving around a lot, but I haven't seen a single one down here....

This time of year i have only clocked 100km in the last 4 weeks .
There are two many tourist on the coast and to many out of town cops who are booking everyone like mad .
So i have been driving my wifes Honda jazz , but come the end of january i will be out there once again , driving my rx8 as the responsible citizen that i am .ha ha ha.
Traffic this time of year does not flow and unless i am doing more than 70km per hour i fall asleep at the wheel .

I am starting to see '8s up here on the road a little more regularly. None of them sound as good as Wildcards though

I saw a Red, Leather Pack with rear spoiler while in Darwin in Friday. Am guessing it was NT Rotorhead as there can't be too many up there yet. Car looked great and was turning heads all along Mitchell St.

three spottings today alone:
1st was a red zimmer machine zipping through north sydney around 9:15am
2nd was a black racer heading west along river road - no wave or such, why don't they wave * grin * - around 2:25pm
3rd was a black one again [ different plates ] heading east on river road - younger driver - small polite "hi" wave as I did my usual low level pass at mach 3 - around 5:20pm
have seen a lot of a siver granny mobile around spofforth street shops recently, passing through by the looks on the way home in the evenings, rude buggers though, no hi even after I parked behind them in the blue flying machine and did my "****, imagine bumping into you here" and my best rx8 owners grin - sigh..
more and more of the great unwashed masses are now buying rx8's it seems - pitty.

umm.... saw a black one yesterday, with 19's and dark tint...... in my garage :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :p

Use the Tunnel every morning and the Bridge every night and have only seen one black and one silver on the rode since I moved north side in August.
That's besides Ric Shaw's which I've seen quite a bit. He has Red with the factory spolier kit and this nice set of ROH three piece mags.
Don't know how I haven't spotted you yet Dez?!

I see a few zoom zooming up and down pittwater road, I've even seen a few in driveways near to me.

Spent the weekend at Alexandra Headlands on the Sunshine Coast. Saw two Winning Blues heading north on Alexandra Avenue - one on Saturday - one on Sunday. One had white on blue plates and one with white on black.

I'm not in the city as much these days, we moved our head offices to North Sydney, and if I'm in the city, it's usually a quick zip over the bridge and into secure parking at 76 pitt st ( data centre or 20 bridge st ( also data centre ) where I know the car's bomb proof safe * grin *

ps: but I'm clocking serious milage back and forth between western and northern regions of late - usually at "curious" speeds too - an not a single speeding ticket yet ?! weird !!

Look for the roman numerals number plates - that be me!

Saw 3 RX-8's on the road this morning in Brisbane
Silver AT (I know 'cause I looked in last time it was stopped at local shops) which lives just round the corner from my house but the lady driver doesn't acknowledge anyone.
Down in Milton on Castlemaine St (damn road works) a Black RX-8. Older male driver with the straight ahead stare.
On Coronation Drive, Red RX-8. Driver gave a small smile and acknowledged my admiring glances and thumbs up whilst stationary at lights.
Generally see a couple each week, excluding the local Silver AT. Still waiting to see a Ligthning Yellow in real life.
I know I'm only a lowly SP20 driver atm, but hey I'm only saying/thinking nice things about the car I want to own sooner than I will, so a polite smile would be isn't too much to ask is it, and a full on smirk will tell me that someone is really having fun.
