Wednesday 11 Feb was a busy day in Brisbane. I got four............
Black RX-8 heading up Jubilee Terrace in Red Hill/Bardon about 8.50 am
Red RX-8 at my daughter's school. Chatted to the owner - it's base model with AT.
Winning Blue RX-8 heading up Wardell Street in Ashgrove about 3.15 pm
Silver RX-8 at Newmarket Pool - think it is the same one that lives a block or two from me. Needed a wash.

Gomez gets a shock!!!
Spotted my first yellow one today and followed it outbound on the Eastern for ten kays.....Rego MAZRX* ....I'm surprised 'cos I have to admit I like the color
Going in to order one next week when I get a day off.....Up to now I had to choose between red, titanium and blue.
Yellow looks much better in the flesh, the COTY pics and other press stuff do not do the colour justice IMO.

Yellow is misunderstood , but once you see it in the flesh especially next to a few other colours you will know the reason why i and others have chosen it .

Yellow RX-8 driver did not wave back.
I saw spmeone driving on the opposite side at Alexander Parade... I recognise RX-8 even with only the headlight. I flash and wave but the chinese dude not even look at me!

Taka, If I got an RX8 for free, I wouldn't mind if it was Mary Kay Pink:D ....I probably would actually!!
My dead cow issue has to do with its ability to go the distance, I want to keep this car for a while. Might have spent too much of my youth in clapped out Fairlanes!!!

My opinion on the yellow has changed too. I really like it. My son loves it and wants me to get a yellow one now.

Freaky stuff....Saw the same Yella MAZRX* today on Elgar Rd in Box Hill and sedately eyeballed the car for five minutes whilst on my way to Penfold Mazda...
The owner had no idea that he was being pursued by a slightly manic Ford driver due to the extensive use of my covert tailing skills gleaned from memories of Sherriff Buford T Justice, who chased the Bandit all them years back.... :D

It's a sign. I saw the same 8 repeatedly as well just before I ordered mine.
That particular 8 (MAZRX*) featured in Motor magazine some time ago. Also the owner must work for Mazda, I enquired about those plates two and half years ago and they were already gone.
